this movie

The Mask of Zorro.

The Zorro with Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins and Catherine Zeta Jones. I cannot even begin to explain my love of this movie. The love. The betrayal. The revenge. The evil, daughter stealing Spanish men. Antonio Banderas going from this:

To this:

Oh baby.

This movie popped into my head while I was sitting in class the other day, and I've been wanting to buy it ever since. We don't buy a lot of movies, but this one is a keeper for sure.

So after wanting so badly to see it, and making a mental note to find it on Amazon, what do I find on TV on this boring night home while Cam is at school?

Yep. The Mask of Zorro. So much happiness.

I have so many memories of watching this movie as a kid. My friend Kara and I watched it at many a "double sleepover" (a double sleepover is a rare but magical event in which you have two sleepovers in a row. And it is awesome.) and my sister Megan and I would act out the part with Antonio Banderas and his horse when they attempt their first night out with the mask, with special emphasis on the part when he calls his horse "estupido!" I'll just let the clip do the talking.

The point is, you should watch it again. And if you haven't seen it, repent, and then do so.
